"Tolerance is the virtue of the man without convictions."
G. K. Chesterton

-The Hyphen-

When life gives you lemons, squirt lemon juice into the eyes of your enemies.
-unknown

"Perhaps I'm old and tired," he continued, "but I always think that the chances of finding out what really is going on are so absurdly remote that the only thing to do is to say hang the sense of it and just keep yourself occupied.. I'd far rather be happy than right any day."
"But then, are you happy?"
"Well, that's where it all falls apart, isn't it?"
-Paraphrased from The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy

The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few.
Infinite diversity in infinite combinations.
-Vulcan axioms

Never stop seeking that which seems unattainable.

did you by any chance read the webpage before you posted the link for it?
here is an excerpt from the "candy panties" wikipedia link:

As sugar is a favorite food of yeast, it is advisable to avoid contact between sugar and the vagina, or the woman may risk a yeast infection. When edible underwear will be touching the vagina, care should therefore be taken to ensure it does not contain sugars.

There is also danger to the edible underwear eater- as there are food illnesses related to eating something that has touched the anus.

I didn't know yeast had food preferences...ah, anthropomorphisation :D

'Quod me non necat, me confirmat.' - probably Nietzsche (except he, presumably, said it in German. It's nicer in Latin).

'I have found the great paradox - if you love so much it hurts, there can be no more hurt, only more love.' - Mother Teresa. I've probably misquoted her but that's the gist of it.

"May you live in interesting times" --Ancient Chinese curse.

I beg to differ...  While it's (almost) always quoted as being an "Ancient Chinese Curse" it appears to have a much more recent (but unknown) provenance.

I like it.

And for those who quote in latin: Would it be too much to ask to have a translation, for those who don't read latin?

Otherwise, it's very rude...  >:(

I prefer Trevor Goodchild's version: "What doesn't kill me makes me... stranger".

Or Howard Tayler's version: "That which does not kill me has made a serious tactical error."
