Aye, marriage has ruined MANY a good friendship!
It has also strengthened many, besides wanting equal marriage for me is about the right to be just as misserable or in love as straight people and be legally reconized.

Thank you rev. Now where is the goreous waitress with my gin and tonic? Don't tell me I created this place without a staff?!

The immaculately androgynous waiters will be with us presently, in the mean time how about a song?

Choreocrat

Do they all have to be androgynous? I've taken the liberty of employing a couple of ruggedly handsome Victorian footmen to wait on us. Ah, here's one now. He's trying to break into the film industry.

I've had another few resumes cross my desk that I'd like to put to the group:

I'm sure he's just slumming, but certainly we can find something for Bowie to do with his time around here:

Mr Quartermaine

I would have to agree with some previous comments. I am not one for the typical gay stereotype. Stiletto heels and sequins will never appear in my wardrobe and pink is a colour I shall leave to a certain ditzy socialite.

As for staff may I be so bold as to suggest Vincent Price behind the bar?

I can hear it now "your drink sir/madam" ah such a voice.
I can imagine a land without war or violence, a land of peace.

And then I can see us attacking that land because they would never expect it!

Utini420

It never even ocured to me to even wonder what Price would have been like in his youth.... fascinating to see men from an older era, back when there was an option between square jawed mega jock and wilting underwear add.

Hi there, just thought i would introduce myself, i am also a pan-sexual, and transgender (although im a tomboy)

as for pansexual, while the contents are important, the wrapper can make it intresting

OK, I'm slow on the uptake and wikipedia deffinitions don't really help clear this up... but what's the difference between transgendered and transsexual?

the definition of which is which varies,

but the way i see it  ( my view so no hassle please)

Cross dresser - a person who dresses in the clothes of another gender
Transexual - a person who lives their life as another gender
Trangender - a person who goes further medically to become another gender

Androgynous - genderless or  a mix of both genders

these arnt cast in stone, and  they vary from place to place

OK, I'd have flipped __sexual and __gender, but that break-down makes sense.  Thanks.  I've always been incorrigibly curious about the whole matter.

Gay here..Woman that is...For some reason I'm none too keen on the word 'lesbian'...Dunno why...Makes me think lipstick lesbians and pornos >.> But we wont go into that now..hee

I'd say something worth while, but I'm quite braindead...
If you notice this notice, you will notice this notice is not worth noticing.

HA HA HA!  That reminds me of a real gas of a time we had visiting some friends not too long ago.  They (two females in a long-term relationship) had never heard the term "lipstick lesbian" before I used it when describing a porn.  They were quite amused, and me sharing that with them has apparently made sense of many aspects of the straight view of gay women that had previously been confusing to them.  Also that night we all watched a male-male gay porn.  To say that the ladies had a comical lack of identification with the actors or actions would be an understatement.  :D

Did someone mention cookies? Ah I see, a wonderful spectrum of form, shape and desire here. How marvelous. Well whatever the label that society and history decides to give each and every one of us (if we bother to listen of course) we are all equal by the nature of desire. A pretty thing, be it the cut of an inside thigh, the arc of a waist, the bulge of powerful arms wrapped around you or the intoxicating smell of pure rampant gender, has to at least warrant the ubiquitous spine tingle. It cannot be helped or tamed or controlled neither should it be.

I would like if I may, to raise a toast. To those who lived before, those who had to hide or risk imprisonment, torture and sometimes death. More specifically to Oscar Wilde, though his cutting whit could not save him from violent convention. His sacrifice generated a root from which many a man and woman has since drawn inspiration.

Seriousness aside, do you have any white chocolate cookies?

Hello everyone. I left for a while and came back. Long summer, very interesting beginning to winter also.

Love this wonderful Meta-Club, makes me smile and be otherwise gay. No pun intended.
I myself am pan-sexual and I'm glad that it was explained already. I do... tend to lean more towards masculinity in people however. I don't care what gender you are but I don't seem to be too terribly attracted to feminine types. I guess this is still considered pan-sexuality? I am also bi-gendered, or two-spirited as I like to call it. By the by, it is nice to see a welcoming group of people. I am not surprised about this from the wonderful Steampunk community though.  :)
