Mr Addams

As some of you may be aware, four days ago, I set up the British Steampunk Events Page on facebook.

A gentle reminder for some, a gentle tap on the wrist for others who have not bothered reading the first post in a sticky. This listing will only be updated with events posted on the above Facebook group. Events posted in the comments here will not be added and will usually be tidied, or removed.

Mr Addams

A long overdue update of the list can now be found above.

Mr Addams

List Updated again, A lot of new events listed in August.

Unless somebody has an event and actually adds it to the list or promotes here on Brass Goggles or on the Facebook page your guess is as good as anybody else's. :)
The legs have fallen off my Victorian Lady...

Mr Addams

The list above is simply a copy of the list of events posted on the facebook page.
I am not responsible for the posting of events, merely the management of the page, It is upto the event organizers weather they post the events or not.
The list is updated at lest once a month, but if you want to see if there are any new events, I suggest that you take a look at the recent posts on the page.
In short, I have no way of knowing if an event has been organized, but not listed.

Other than the free afternoon tea event? Which, by the way, is on the 17th of August and not the 7th.

If it does well we are hoping to hold more.

Might I mention The Surrey Steampunk Convivial?

By popular demand, we shall be running two this year: the first was in February, and the second shall be August 22nd and 23rd 2015, and we are very much looking forward to it. Well, I'd even go as far as to say we are excited about it. There, I said it.

We are proud to present the Surrey Steampunk Convivial, for your pleasure:

Sir, you are too modest.  I might mention that we expect the Sussex Convivial in August to include the UK's first exhibition of Splendid Teapot Racing.  Would that we could attend ...

croftonman

Hi

I don't have Facebook.

But I am helping to organise this event.

https://www.croftonbeamengines.org/event/steampunk-weekend/

Not many Steampunk events where you can walk around inside a real steam engine while it is running. Swamped in real steam.

Please pass the link on to as many people as possible.
