Oh, really great pics, Gwenifer.  Where-abouts were they taken?

Paige

Gwenifer Scorpio

They were taken in the Old Market district of my city. :) It's full of old architecture and lovely bits of iron fence.

"Well, I don't really think that the end can be assessed as of itself as being the end because what does the end feel like? It's like saying when you try to extrapolate the end of the universe, you say, if the universe is indeed infinite, then how - what does that mean? How far is all the way, and then if it stops, what's stopping it, and what's behind what's stopping it? So, what's the end, you know, is my question to you."

Here's two of my favorites from Anachrocon:

My racing bustle and I also made my friend's bodice. I showed her how to sew and she made the rest.

Quite fetching Miss Frame.
I must confess that I was initially  quite surprised by the tri-coloured wrist apparatus, thinking it was some less-than-subtle updating of the historical fan-code... then I finally twigged that with the checquer and BRG, that I was seeing the first  Steampunk "Grid-girl".
Ingenious.

Well, since we're sharing pictures from AnachroCon...

Nothing really special about these outfits.  Rather, nothing special compared to the many, many more excellent outfits at the con.

Many thanks to Dim Horizon for setting up the photo booth.

My wife and daughter gave me the idea of inserting the holographic eyes in my goggles, visible in this pic.

I wish I would have had time to work on my cane.  The top looks like a gas lamp and is made of amber acrylic.  Just needed a bit more time to add the light effects to make it flicker.

You look very dapper, my good sir!  Keep up the good work.

My fiance has got me watching Anime....and somehow it managed to start inspiring me.   :-\

Well in that spirit I decided to take my recently modded coat and see what I could do with a "steampunk ninja."

Are those keys hanging from the belt in the lower photo?  I blew the image up, but still can't make out what you have going on there.

There are keys and also a couple of assortments of Chinese knife and spade money. My necklace and earrings are made from Chinese coins.

I wasn't really trying for any steaminess, but everyone I talked to at the event thought it was there anyway.

Those are awesome! Kayt, you look incredible in all of those shots, and your man cuts quite the figure. Those were always my favorite uniforms on the show.

Unsubtle Pete, looks like you had a good time! ;D
