GROUP NAME: Sheffield Steampunk Society

LOCATION or AREA: Sheffield

DETAILS OF GROUP: We are a fairly small group, just starting up regular meetings from next Thursday, with some members from within Sheffield but also from Doncaster, Chesterfield, and surrounding areas. We also have one off events, which can be found on the facebook page but that I will also post in here, ideas for future trips include steam ralleys and a visit to Sheffield's snuff factory.

May I announce the fledgling start of a steampunk group based on the central south coast.

GROUP NAME: P.A.S.T.S. - Portsmouth And Southampton Time-travelling Steampunks
LOCATION or AREA: Hampshire and surrounding area - focussed on Southampton and Portsmouth
DETAILS OF GROUP: P.A.S.T.S. is aimed to be a focus for Hampshire based steampunks (steam-punkers and steam-punkettes) to meet together for social and cultural activities, meet new people, build on existing friendships and share in all that is good in the steampunk genre. P.A.S.T.S. intend to arrange social and cultural meetings and get-togethers with a clear steampunk theme. P.A.S.T.S. have no specific agenda other than to enjoy the steampunk genre and each others company. P.A.S.T.S. Membership is free (on application via facebook at present) and open to steampunks in the Hampshire area and the wider surrounding areas beyond.
MEETINGS: Irregular at the moment with the intention of establishing regular gatherings alternating between the Southampton area and the Portsmouth area.
