Un-Baked Super Sculpey in Liquid

I'm wanting to create a specimen jar, I want to make the actual "creature" out of sculpey but I really like the way it looks un-baked. All fleshy and soft and awesome.

Will un-baked sculpey hold up in liquid?

I've heard that you can firm it by boiling it in water, maybe put the glass jar with the specimen in water to get the shape just right and boil it to firm it up.

My only concern is whether it would hold its shape over time, or get all dented up as it moves around in its jar.

Maybe try some different types? Theres a transluscent variety that looks quite fleshlike even when its baked.

Perhaps make a test item and see what happens?

(I love the ten cent pots at the thrift store for ...experiments)
