Help/Advice Really Needed

This passed year at Animazement 2011,I went as Steampunk (Like in my profile pic) But now next year,I want to update it so badly. I've been thinking about buying a ammunition belt. But if you see in the picture,I had a rifle in my hands. It's just plain and needed a bit of an upgrade. Any tips and advice would help alot! =D

As an update to your rifle being too plain, why not watch Back to the Future part III and take a look a t Doc's rifle with the over the top optic scope.  If you REALLY want to go all out, you could always do some engraving on the casing of the rifle and some inlay and check work on the stock.

Embellish the rifle, add a scope or other accessories.
