Following in Vernian Process' footsteps, here's my own obligatory thread for announcing updates to Steampunk: Victorian Adventurers in a Past that Wasn't. It'll probably be entirely redundant, but why not?

First up, we're starting a winter series on Imperialist Adventure stories with an update to an older article on the Tarzan movies starring Johnny Weismuller... It does delve headlong into Pulp territory, but it's TARZAN!

Coming up soon will be reviews of the 1940 and the Disney versions of Swiss Family Robinson and the 1937 version of King Solomon's Mines

Josh of Vernian Process

Oh Cory... PLEASE review the 1985 version of King Solomon's Mines!!! With Richard Chamberlain and Sharon Stone... HAHAHAHA

I would love to see what you have to say about that one!  :P

lol... I've actually been watching some clips that someone put up on YouTube to demonstrate what a terrible movie that version is, and I don't honestly think there is anything I can add except to confirm that it indeed exists and that it is indeed awful ^_^

Josh of Vernian Process

Oh man you have to see that movie at least once!! It's soooo over the top and hoakey. But it's a really fun/funny movie!
