Inflatable Friend

I'd love Del Toro to actually be able to make Mountains of Madness, but I don't think that's ever going to happen..

Not Steampunk in the slightest, but I'd love a faithful film version of an Iain M Banks book, either Consider Phelbas or Look to Windward.

Imagine if you will - Steve Austin  six Million Dollar man - with steampunk  components

The 6,000 Shillings Man?

Probably Six Million Sovereigns.  Custom engineering isn't cheap.

James Harrison

The sightly-less-than-six-million-guineas man?
Persons intending to travel by open carriage should select a seat with their backs to the engine, by which means they will avoid the ashes emitted therefrom, that in travelling generally, but particularly through the tunnels, prove a great annoyance; the carriage farthest from the engine will in consequence be found the most desirable.

Hurricane Annie

Would he have steam coming out his ears  - just to keep in theme

Burgess Shale

Perdito Street Station, with Guillermo Del Toro as the director.

I have really enjoyed the Erast Fandorin books, written by Boris Akunin. I think they would make a great series of TV films. It would run for years on ITV3!

List of Fandorin books (will contain spoilers)

Russian TV films:-
Azazel/The Winter Queen
The Turkish Gambit
The State Counsellor

Why, thank you Mr.Wells, just need to brush up on my Russian then - although I note the promise of an english language version of The Turkish Gambit is in the works.

Just a quick update for you Mr.Fitziron.:-

(Azazel/The Winter Queen) It's in Russian, a 20 part series, watch it before it disappears.
Oh...my old war wound? I got that at The Battle of Dorking. Very nasty affair that was, I can tell you.

The Ministry of Tea respectfully advises you to drink one cup of tea day...for that +5 Moral Fibre stat.

The Legenderry comics have Steve Austin as the $6,000 Man, with Steampunk versions of Red Sonja and Zorro and various other heroes.
Steampunk adventure featuring Manchester's Chinatown is now available on Smashwords!

The next episode of Adele Blanc sec!

Several versions of it come to mind*, and were made in 1912, 1913, 1929, 1943, 1953, 1958 and most recently 1997.

*assuming it picks up directly where the first left off.
