In that case I insist on having Hawthorne along! We must make sure he survives Zombie-land!  ;)

Ms. Adler, I do believe we will be using your LZ idea...

Splendiddly!  ;D
I sense some interesting, fateful decisions on the horizon for Mary...

Oh, my, foreboding (fiveboding?)

I have two xmas functions to go to today, or rather this noon and then tonight. Back-to-back jam sessions, basically. Hopefully I'll be through and back by 8 pm tonight.

Well he has shown his great ability to find traps where there was perhaps none in the first place! :)

That is precisely what I was hoping for! Imagine, what he could do in an ancient temple. Or a pyramid!

The Corsair

The damned deck still didn't get finished!

Anyway, I'm hearing something about a temple! I only skimmed the previous posts so what did I miss? Also, is it something that could be the central plot point to a sequel game? Lastly, how long is this 'short game' meant to be (pages-wise, considering how far we are in this many pages)?
Still here, just quieter

MWBailey

I hadn't thought of it in terms of pages, merely the time allotted. I'd say the 'temple business woudl be either a further chapter or a sequel of TTATD. Or maybe a sequel.

In any case, we're simply discussing what's to come in this adventure, and the possibilities for the next adventure, not really settng anything in stone.

Pardon the double post. No, it isn't over yet; we still have to get the tablet out and loaded on som kind or carrier, find the dagger (a Kris-like affair, with a gigantic ruby on the pommel), and attempt to escape with the artifacts, etc.

Gah! The forum only warns if someone writes a new post, not when one is modified.  :P
I adjusted my part accordingly after you changed yours.

Yes Starling is being a crazy jungle girl but you have to admit Bey will not be expecting that.  I figure she can make it close enough to where the dagger is to grab it an drop but I wanted to give everyone a chance to have fun with the chaos she just created.

I do hope we do the temple thing sometime there is not nearly enough steampunk Egypt stuff.  I need to find my mummy book now.

If my knowledge of English doesn't betray me, Bey won't expect anything. Ever. Again.

I was wondering about the layout of the room and how many people were there? Seems to be a bit bigger and more crowded.

What i figure is the board room is most likely one of the biggest rooms because it has such a high celing and has a raised bit at the back where the tablet was kept all alter like.  So when we went sideways most people when crashing in to that and when we got up I imagine some of us moved a little further back from the crush to be able to shoot people and to stop anyone that comes crashing in the door.  That is just what I imagined tho.

I imagined something similar. I'm not exactly clear on how many people are in the room and its dimensions, but I assume there are more than the four guards that were at the doors, and that it is a relatively large room.

It's like saying when you try to extrapolate the end of the universe, you say, if the universe is indeed infinite, then how - what does that mean? How far is all the way, and then if it stops, what's stopping it, and what's behind what's stopping it? So, what's the end, you know, is my question to you."

I agree. This is the most fun I've had roleplaying in a long time. We have some great characters here; I'd love to continue on at some point.

I was playing around in a avatar maker and came out with what I think is a good Starling without her battle gear.

It's so much fun, I hope we're not done yet. I'd be really disappointed if by tomorrow we'd be waltzing out of there with both, tablet and dagger and no more obstacles. But I don't think that's going to happen

Playing with you guys is so great, I want MORE... for LONGER...  ;D

Sweet!
What avatar maker is that?

Yeah I was curious about that too. I'd love to illustrate Redburn.

I really hope we aren't done yet either. There's gotta be a twist coming; not sure what but there's just gotta be.

Dreadfully sorry, was away for most of the weekend, I'm back in the room now and as we're rounding up I thought I'd try some of Hawthorne's James Bond like gadgets (oh and the terrible one liners that Bond tends to do).

Oh, also I'm throwing about explosives, so do take cover, although they're not big explosives, we should be okay in the boardroom... maybe.

I'd just like to echo how much fun this has been, and would love to play other games with you guys, it's been excellent :D

Something just happened. I'll let our Gamemaster (or someone else) determine exactly what transpired however.

Yeah, the gun is slightly smaller than that, but made me giggle.

Oh: if nothing else happens to prevent that, Handthorpe will have his face caved in by a Winchester used like a mace. With force. Should that not knock him unconscious, she'll draw her sabre and try to hack him to pieces.
Just saying...

Good night, me hearties! ;)
