They just join up like every other new members does - it's easy for a human. We did prevent the vast majority of spammer from using automatic register / posting tools (spam-bots), but they can still register a bunch manually then wait for a time to unleash the auto-post tools to spam a number of forums simultaneously.  I did once find a spammer using an account that had been registered around 12 months prior, but never posted from, until that day (same IP was both registrant and poster, so definitely the same person).  ::)

I think maybe Lemonaitor?  I apologise if I am being a nuisance, but I always am keeping an eye out for the name of new members on the homepage, mainly because I feel like I need to make an attempt to be unofficially helpful on the forum.  Like the others he hasn't done anything yet, I just find it suspicious when they log in and stay on for less then a certain amount of time.  I try and give them a little bit of lee way backwards and forwards, but I am like a hawk when it comes to suspicious behavior.  Croft Over
