Just finished this. A relatively teensy painting for donation to a music-themed Door Prize drawing.

I'm trying to figure our what technique you used on that, but... oh I better just enjoy it, it looks beautifull.

Looks like some kind of digital filter.
That style reminds me few different tools from the "brush strokes" or "artistic" filters in Adobe Photoshop.

'The 4lb lump hammer, also known as a Birmingham Screwdriver'

Commission for a friend, as a Valentine's present for his girlfriend. Their names are in the maker's plate:

Click on it. It's really much bigger.

The word pagan came from paganus , who mean peasant . Its was a way to significate than christianism was the religion of the elite and paganism the one of the savage worker class.

''Trickster shows us how we trick OURSELVES. Her rampant curiosity backfires, but, then, something NEW is discovered (though usually not what She expected)! This is where creativity comes from—experiment, do something different, maybe even something forbidden, and voila! A breakthrough occurs! Ha! Ha! We are released! The world is created anew! Do something backwards, break your own traditions, the barrier breaks; destroy the world as you know it, let the new in.''

Just checked all of these out. Great art, and great imagination.

I'm also big fan of Jacek Yerka and made two digital paintings inspired by his architectural pieces over ten years ago.  ;D

They both are very nice, but personally I prefer the Castle On a Hill

The second of the two paintings I'm donating to the Door Prize table at the Palestine Old Time Music and Dulcimer Festival ("Old Pal") in Palestine Texas this coming weekend. This was the first time I've done a locomotive close-up at what amounts to an Isometric or "cabinet drawing" angle, so it has been a bit of a learning experience. It's also the first time in a long while that I've painted with a palette knife (mountain and rockfaces).

(Had to take the pic at a weird angle to get the crappy highlight reflections from the bay windows off of it)

I'm not sure whether to call it Mountain Railroad or Train Song. Thoughts, anyone?

My thoughts would lean to the former. I'm guessing that Mountain Train Song would be a bit awkward.

Sorry for the slow reply!

Put it up on the Book of Face, and got so many disparate suggestions that I decided to call it
"Your Favorite Train Song."

...and here is the third pixelart bad pun in a row, although you can thank/blame Colonel Hawthorne for the concept :) I just made it come to life!
