Not sure if quite steampunk, but there's Victoriana and tentacles, so... close enough?

You can see much more of my work, 2d and 3d, here:  https://www.facebook.com/demonkittydesigns

The word pagan came from paganus , who mean peasant . Its was a way to significate than christianism was the religion of the elite and paganism the one of the savage worker class.

''Trickster shows us how we trick OURSELVES. Her rampant curiosity backfires, but, then, something NEW is discovered (though usually not what She expected)! This is where creativity comes from—experiment, do something different, maybe even something forbidden, and voila! A breakthrough occurs! Ha! Ha! We are released! The world is created anew! Do something backwards, break your own traditions, the barrier breaks; destroy the world as you know it, let the new in.''

...and here is the third pixelart bad pun in a row, although you can thank/blame Colonel Hawthorne for the concept :) I just made it come to life!

You're really going to have to do this one in 3D, perhaps with the tentacle emerging from the mouthpiece instead.

Lol. Fear not for my sanity. I am expanding the media that I am tackling for the Doorways exhibition. Expect to see some other strange stuff coming up :)

Well I'm working on developing a webcomic, and this is a doodle of siblings Harvey and Charlotte. Charlotte's favorite word is "shishkabibbles". XD

I'm gradually posting concept art and random facts about steamships n' miscellany as I stumble upon them on tumblr. Still in the process of world building, but I'm excited in the direction it's going! This is the link to it if anyone's interested in following my shenanigans--> http://steamcomic.tumblr.com/

It looks as though you're putting an amazing amount of effort into worldbuilding. I can hardly wait!

Your artwork samples are tasty, too.

Many thanks! I hope to get the introduction written up nicely so I can start drawing pages in the next two months. Will probably post something once it gets going. ^^

Not that i actually aprehend such remarks , but better safe than sorry. This those persons who should learn the praticality of links)

My latest painting, again created in order to be donated to a doorprize drawing at a music festival, this one being at the recently-reinstated (as of last January) annual Dulcimer Retreat in Huntsville, Texas this coming January.

Life is like a Mountain Railroad
Acrylic on 11x14 stretched canvas, no frame.

I seem to always have trouble getting the lighting right when I take a photo of one of my paintings. Maddening...
Walk softly and carry a big banjo...

""quid statis aspicientes in infernum"

"WHAT?! N0!!! NOT THAT Button!!!"

I designed some viking/celtic inspired pendants for local wholesale jewelry company called Korutukku (Finnish name for "Jewelry bundle")

This was my actual drawing, and they choose 6 designs for mass production and maybe even more in later. There was some minor modifications in some of the final products, but most of the pieces look just like in my drawing.

Click the thumbnail for looking it full size:

Final pieces in real life:

Pendants are cast mainly from pewter (Bottom right one was surgical steel and they have also gilded version from same model.) and if my "line of work" sell very well, I can probably desing even more jewelry pieces for Korutukku in later. There has been some preliminary talk for making plans also from steampunk themed things in next year if everything goes well..  :)

I really enjoy the brush strokes of your painting. Looks nice! It's hard getting photographs just right for paintings, especially bigger ones.

Thanks!

I like that cartoon of yours, the "another fine mess" type. I've been in a few scrapes like that...

Thanks for the compliments.
I run small blacksmith workshop and jewelry studio in my home, but that was first time when I got opportunity to design objects for mass production.. It was great fun, because I can of course draw much more ornate or complex designs what I can normally make from metal with my simple hand tools. :)

I have made some very complex steampunk pieces over the years, like the robot brooch in my avatar. But that kind of clock recycling projects are quite different thing compared to more normal jewelry projects where everything had to "make from scratch".

You sir, have to be my favourite jewelry maker/ blacksmith here, darn fine creations and I hope all goes well for the selling of these. You craft some of the finest stuff I have seen.

Very glad to hear. It's nice that some people still remember my old works in here.
I have been quite inactive with metal works about 2-3 years now, and have not posted any new pieces to DeviantArt or here in very long time, but my inspiration started to come back finally in this fall. If everyhing goes well I try to make also some new steampunk pieces after Christmas. (Just now i'm quite busy with normal forge work commissions and few upcoming xmas fairs.)

This is kind like preview from one quite complex three part pendant set project what I started to make before my long hiatus. http://astalo.deviantart.com/art/Steampunk-jeweler-s-workbench-411068846 Let's hope that I can finally find some time and energy for making that last pendant with pickelhaube fellow before this winter ends.  ::)

Ahhh! I love your craftsmanship with metal. Not just that, but your works with stone and clay, too. Really nice work.
