Some of the things going on include:


" Just to mention a few things that will be happening at this extraordinarily raggle taggle and utterly hatstand event, there may well be: Umbrella fencing, Ostrich Racing, Splendid Teapot Racing, the Fling-a-Familiar Bazooka, Rubbish Football, Snail Racing, Battle Croquet, Tea duelling, an origami workshop, talks, exhibitions, dancing and music - including Kiss Like Ether, Ghostfire, Victor and the Bully, Professor Verymental (yes, the first Steampunk Tribute act!) morris dancing, Reversible Percival, Catherine Paver, Moth, Mia and the Moon, Livia Pye, Spriggan Mist, Dr. Slideshow, Guy Padfield's autoharps, the wonderful Steampunk DJ...and much, much more... "

Full itinerary expected some time tomorrow.

Sadly I won't have some of the elements for the new look Steampunk DJ set up in time for this one, but those of you that have been before are sure to recognise the original Steampunk DJ booth & curtains in it's usual place in the corner of the function room.

...and on to the next! Well, the next Convivial appears to fall squarely on my birthday - July 30th and 31st 2016. Tickets are on sale now - with a handful of earlybird tickets up for grabs. The Convivial will be held at The Royal Oak and Christchurch in New Malden, as before.

We already have some wonderful music lined up, and lots of dancing! There is mention of enlisting a kazoo orchestra to create the live score to some super storytelling, fire dancing, head stocking bowling...gosh. So much going on! Indeed, the next one is coming around fast - August 5th and 6th at The Royal Oak, New Malden. Ostrich racing, snail racing, aerial display, belly dancing, music, teapot racing, familiar flinging and a variety of parlour games, and really too much fun to mention! This one's my Birthday Bash - I'd love to see you there!

We're having a 'build a rubber band racer' competition this time...please do bring your entry along!
