A room (still under construction, but there's no work crew in sight) for those of us who ought to be doing something but just can't be bothered.

Membership forms are in the corner there, and guild fees are due on the 15th of every third month.

Don't we ALL belong to this club at one point or another?  ;D

When an explosion explodes hard enough, the dust wakes up and thinks about itself.

My membership form fell from my listless hand and drifted under my velvet Recamier couch in the Dragon Tamers' when I had finished my scone and was overcome with drowsiness. . . the warmth of the fire and the sound of the cat purring, it can wait 'til I've had a nap . . .
Kenneth: 'If you're so hot, you can tell me how to say she has ideas above her station.'
Brian:'Oh yes, I forgot. It's fairly easy, old boy.
Elle a des idees au-dessus de sa gare.'
Kenneth: 'Idiot.  It's not that kind of station.'

i will mull this one over for  a while ... then send it down through the proper channels...

I was going to attach the Protocol for new members, made a start on it:

1.

That's not bad, eh? I'll plan to work on the rest right after lunch tomorrow. I did realise that I am not actually a member yet because I didn't fill in the form - well, I was going to, but I lost the first one. Think it went down the back of the sofa or got 'filed' underneath the pile of letters that I have yet to open.

Anyway, if anyone has any other ideas for how I could follow up or improve upon the guild protocol, please jot it down and send it to this address:

Hang on, there's someone at the door. Be right back.
We are proud to present the Surrey Steampunk Convivial, for your pleasure:

Sounds interesting.  I may apply for membership in a month or two.

Hey Joe

Knowing my proclivities, my servants filled out the form for me.
You see, in this world there's two kinds of people, my friend: Those with loaded guns and those who dig. You dig.

Will the guild be providing round tuits as part of the signing up process? I can send my application when I get a round tuit...

Not before the tuit is properly rounded

Alexis Voltaire

We will be providing complimentary round tuits, as soon as I can get this order form filled out. Any extra rounding will have to be done by the members themselves.

Am I late?
No? Good, I'll be right back.

No problem.  Take your time.  You know what they say.  "Haste makes waste."

Are amateur crastinators eligible for membership?

Hey Joe

I think I would insist on only professional crastinators here. Can't be having damned amateurs mucking up the works and actually doing something. Wouldn't be proper.
You see, in this world there's two kinds of people, my friend: Those with loaded guns and those who dig. You dig.

Alexis Voltaire

Amateur crastinators will be allowed as apprentices. When the find the time they must follow in the as-yet-untrod footsteps of their teachers, and study our library section on history's great procras-

*Looks to the library corner, where several IKEA bookshelves have been abandoned, one half assembled and the rest still boxed.*

When we get a library, that is. I'm sure It'll get done eventually.

Anticrastinators are a somewhat trickier matter... I'll have to give it some thought later.
