Now, it looks like I'll have to extract the digit and do it this year....

Well, on the other hand, this post was appropriately tardy.

Happy new year to all our prospective members who have yet to turn in their applications. We did have one member turn in a completed application before the deadline; as per the still unwritten charter they will receive one demerit and a stern look sometime in the near future.

I keep intending to turn mine in, but my banjos keep waylaying me...
Walk softly and carry a big banjo...

I think my application form is underneath these Christmas cards.  When I have finished writing the Christmas cards -- oh dear, they're a bit late, aren't they -- I can do the form . . .
Kenneth: 'If you're so hot, you can tell me how to say she has ideas above her station.'
Brian:'Oh yes, I forgot. It's fairly easy, old boy.
Elle a des idees au-dessus de sa gare.'
Kenneth: 'Idiot.  It's not that kind of station.'

For anyone attending the meeting next week...oh. It was yesterday. Darn, I missed it. How did it go?

I was going to put it in my diary...but I didn't get around to buying a diary yet.

Alright! I know what my New Year's resolution will be!

Oh, Dagnabit! I missed it again!

Cubinoid

I would be very interested to know what your New Year's resolution might be, could you put it in a post...but not right now? I'm a bit tied up to read it. Sometime next Tuesday might be okay - pm, preferably.

I think I will invent a procrastinator's watch.  I will be made in such a way that one can set an alarm for a particular time, and it will automatically choose some random delay past the appointed alarm time.  You shall never have to be on time again!

Corroded Alloy

I've been meaning to say hello on here ever since seeing this thread a few days ago.
Small though it is, the human brain can be quite effective when used properly.

Ah, seems a perfect fit for me.

Me too. I'm a chronic procrastinator from way back, but.... as a suicidal gun collector, it's actually saved my life many times!
