Let's not get the cart hooked up in front of the horse. Write first, then start worrying about things like traditional publishing, self-publishing, e-books, agents, partridges in pear trees...all that other stuff can wait.








*If anyone who says they can get you published wants money up front, walk away. I was told at a workshop that the only time you should be signing a check is to endorse it on the back prior to its deposit.
When it's time, refer to this website, Preditors and Editors. It will help you avoid the wrong people and hopefully direct you to the write** people.

**Yes, I agree. That was awful. But my hands, you see, are transplants obtained from a very punny guy, and I just can't seem to get a handle on their desire to punish me.
