The word pagan came from paganus , who mean peasant . Its was a way to significate than christianism was the religion of the elite and paganism the one of the savage worker class.

''Trickster shows us how we trick OURSELVES. Her rampant curiosity backfires, but, then, something NEW is discovered (though usually not what She expected)! This is where creativity comes from—experiment, do something different, maybe even something forbidden, and voila! A breakthrough occurs! Ha! Ha! We are released! The world is created anew! Do something backwards, break your own traditions, the barrier breaks; destroy the world as you know it, let the new in.''

Don't read it yet, but i already like the Disneyan drawing style:

Cogs a bloke? He looks like a girl. These comics are weird.

that confuse me too ( and not just about Cogs).

I suppose is a side effect of the drawing style.

I was quite disappointed actually. The comic lacked any solid female characters that weren't a pastiche. Then there was cog centre stage, I thought cool! female fixer that's good. Then it turned out to be a bloke.

There is a certain naivety in the "all male" way of writing a work such as this. Although I'm not adversed to the idea of pretty boys. A multiplicity of characters would be preferable to just blatant gay eye candy. He is very very pretty isn't he?

Maybe it's a "redressing the heterosexual bias" comic. He's certainly innocent and clueless enough to be fodder. And remember he did get a nasty pointy rod of raw purple magic in him from that mysterious blonde. And the relationships are getting quite intense early on.

Maybe this comic is fruiting under the radar. If so silver linings and how utterly delicious.
