I has an idea for a prop that would have a transparent dagger blade, but I wouldn't want to make the blade of rigid material because most such materials would either be very fragile or would produce a blade that really was dangerous.

What I want is something like the rubber dagger that I played with as a child,  so I looked up transparent RTV rubber and confirmed that such a thing exists, but I didn't find a source for the sort of small quantities that I would be using.

Most likely I would be tinting the material to suggest gemstone. The rubber blade would be thin and pointy. Can anyone offer advice on purchasing the material and molding it to produce the object?

Probably.  And the web site even tells what kind of tint to use.

Has anyone used this stuff? Are bubbles a problem?
