I thought it was obvious it was a 3D illustration , but there's one surefire way to tell. There's an obvious mechanical error on the car that'd keep it from moving. Can you find the error?

Well, ummmmm, maybe the artist just wanted the car permanently in "park", so no one would steal it....  (which is akin to Wells' "copyright" reason )

When I see that, it detracts from the art. Even when Steampunks are not too technical, they tend to be finicky about their mechanical parts.

This is kind of ridiculous, not to mention unsafe, and probably not Steampunk, but I thought it was fun enough to post. Mexican designer Adelkas Studio converts old-style VW fender into a go kart / quadcycle mash-up. He calls it the "La Bugkart Wasowski"

At least I didn't think it was a class reserved for trains designed by Barry Gibb, though I would love to know how he would design a train.

I didn't get to see that until the 1980s in a documentary, but didn't they have a Boeing 720 for their 1979 tour painted in black and red?

That would be Caesars' Chariot, owned by the record company and Caesar's Palace, replacing Starship One. The Bee Gees were the last clients of the aircraft; Led Zeppelin having fallen apart while touring before them, and effectively ceasing to be afterwards, so no-one used it until it was disposed of.
