Dear all, just writing to let you know that Papplewick Pumping Station will be holding its second Steampunk Day on July 9th, 11am-5pm. The James Watt beam engines and Lancashire boiler will be in steam along with other engines on site, plus tours of the underground reservoir will be available (please note places on the reservoir tours are limited so get your tickets as soon as you arrive!).

There will be a variety of steampunk stalls along with tea duelling, facial hair competitions and performances from Von Morley's Steampunk Belly Dancers. A facebook event page is available here: https://www.facebook.com/events/255292178243393.

Discount admission for all who attend in steampunk attire (£7 instead of the normal £8 adult admission).

Kind regards to you all.
