After 3 years work and $15 million (AUD), the Lamb House (actually named Home) has been restored in Brisbane, Australia. It was originally built in 1902-3.

Oh, I saw that - amazing what you can do if you have millions of dollars. I had planned to do something similar myself had I won the 150 million, but THAT plan's been scuppered...

The view from that upstairs verandah looking our over the Brisbane River and the city was worth quite a few of those millions spent - it was spectacular!
