Salutations Friends,

It has been some time since last we conversed, and I do hope this missive finds you in good health and high spirits. I write today to extend my regards and inquire after your well-being.

Life, as it so often does, has presented me with certain trials and tribulations, both of health and circumstance, which have demanded much of my attention. In addition, I find myself contending with personal afflictions of the heart and mind, casting a tempest upon my course. Among these burdens, I continue to bear the sorrowful loss of my father, who departed this world some years past.

Yet, despite these hardships, I hold steadfast to the hope that you all fare well upon your respective journeys. Until we next meet, may fortune favor you, and may your paths be lit with prosperity.

Regards and respect,
Captain Savage

Things may be a bit quiet here now, but it's always good to hear from old acquaintances.

Salutations and a welcoming return.

It is always warming to see someone return, and is equally so in this event. While it is sorrow-som to hear of your loss some year past, you have my condolences, I hope you find comfort here.

I returned after a long absence a short time ago. May I say welcome back and thank you for your return. It is good to see people migrating back to these sunny shores.
