No, simple and short answer. My boy is nowhere near steampunk.

He's a Sports loving, Football(soccer) playing Philly boy.

I guess this is both something great and something that makes me wish he was into this kind of stuff too.
It's always nice to have someone who enjoys the same thing's you do, and when you feel like the only one who does that you know...it can get quite lonely.

But I think it's a balance that works well. I'm his Gypsy and he's my Football Hooligan...and that works.

I look very much like what I am, a middle aged social worker lady ...

He is 18 years younger than me and looks like a crazy, black-leather clad biker.

However, I am the one with the (hidden) tattoos... I'm secretly wild inside, and Hal wouldn't hurt a flea ;)

Im one of the lucky ones who's significant other is also steampunk and is even a member here on the boards. Certainly saves me the effort of explaining my fixation with antique arms, and brass objects of the practical variety (as in not those silly brass horses etc that seem to fill every charity shop, antiques store, and traditional pub)
