Rather more visible spammer activity than usual this morning. Does this mean that: (a) BG has suddenly been singled out for attack; (b) It's no more spammer activity than usual, but they're slipping through for whatever reason; or (c) "Our defense screens are down, Captain—we cannae take much more o' this!"?

I think I got them all.... please do keep reporting them, I don't have enough time in the day to check each post as it's made, but I'll sure as hell swing that hammer as hard as possible!

For some reason, ReCAPTCHA is not working right. The CAPTCHA shows up, but you can answer with anything and it'll let registration complete.  I've filed a bug report with the module author.  I have no idea why this started now, I haven't touched registration in weeks.

New spammer today: "dempsey802", promoting NFL/NHL jerseys in four different groups.  This is pure link spam intended for search engines, with text in Spanish copied from news media and links randomly inserted in the text. It's not even intended for human reading.

Pretty sure I was the one who banned that username, but don't recall removing any posts... (banned a lot of spam accounts today, mind is going fuzzy)

Find spam > Hit notify > Hit reply to say you reported the post > Get hit with the "Wait 30 seconds, neener neener" thing..

Yeah, I've found that same thing a few times myself. Easy enough to miss if you just found the spammer via the member list. 

I probably missed a few spam posts though, After the first 60 or so I sort of hit 'auto pilot'...
