It appears that 'What Are You Listening To' Mk. 2 has fallen off the edge of the world. And so, whilst the esteemed Mr. Augustus Longeye sends out the search party he suggests I start a new thread.

I am about to leave for the Camden Barfly where I'll be catching up with this bunch of Canadians I recently met in Turin (Torino). American 'Southern Rock' via Toronto, Ontario.  ;D

Listened to the Nigel Planer reading of Men At Arms today, at double speed because it wasn't fast enough for me, though his voice is deep enough to not sound weird if sped up, and also some VNV Nation

Hilarious track, and most definitely unsafe for work listening.

The Star Wars cantina music. I have no idea why.

That's REALLY WEIRD, just before loading this page Winamp shuffled to "A Thoroughly Modern Breakup" by Mr B, which is a remix using the Cantina theme.

I've had The Men TWNBBFN stuck in my head all week. The song I've been listening to all day today has been The People's Common sense medical advisor- most unfortunate as I'm home with my parents for the week and my random outbursts of the chorus are most unwelcome!

It's been a long time since I tuned to SomaFM.com (Shoutcast Internet radio from San Francisco); currently listening to the Groove Salad channel.  Nice ambient music - really nice actually.

That is so late Beatle-esque

My copy of Clive Nolan's Alchemy arrived from Amazon this morning, so that's my day's listening sorted!

It's rather bloody good, actually. It might lack Ayreon's polish in terms of epic rock operas, but the steamy theme and general grittiness more than make up for it.
