We did actually have the proto-gathering of Steampunk Western at Asylum 2012 but a shoot-out never occurred.

Time to go back and rectify that. :)
The legs have fallen off my Victorian Lady...

Ive been thinking (which is normally were my wife answers that's dangerous).

Would be cool if we could do some sort of corral, fenced of area with a high entrance and hay bales maybe some crates inside.  Doesn't need to be a high fence except for the entrance.  And when were doing the shoot out people could sit on the bales and crates.

Well I did say me thinking was dangerous  ::)

This may be of interest to anybody who lives within striking distance of Norfolk.
For the past three years, I have been organizing a Dinosaur Hunt at the Dinosaur Adventure park in Norfolk.

Because of the upsurge in Weird West, and in order to keep things interesting, I have decided to give the 2014 Dinosaur Hunt, A The Valley of the Gwangi Twist.

Steam Westerner here. Have everything except the armament sorted at the moment, including two outfits ('dress' and 'working').  ;D

My wife is going for 'Steam Engineer' as her working outfit, which will require a few mods to her wheelchair at some point. We're having a lot of fun with it.

I am inclined to what we call western punk.  I like,Steam Westerner too though!

I grew up doing occasional day work on cattle ranches, so the clothing and style was with me before I found steampunk at all.

I am writing a novel in this setting.  Will post when it is out, in case anyone is interested.

*** apologies for crashing a UK thread.  Was glad to see other folks interested in the western influence.

I missed the shoot-out at High Noon at The Asylum, most peeved!
