May I mention Weekend at the Asylum?   The largest purely steampunk event in Europe to date.

September 12th-14th in the City of Lincoln in England.

Hello fellow Europeans!

I would like to post about the upcoming exhibition "The Mechanical Corps. On the trail of Jules Verne".
I will take place in Berlin, Germany, from the 5th June until 3rd August.

Next to fine art the Künstlerhaus is presenting Steampunk-artists such as Richard "Doc" Nagy, Amanda "Professor Maelstromme" Scrivener, Jos de Vink, Alexander "Steampunker" Schlesier and many more.
Their works will be shown in context with Jules Vernes novels, illustrations to his books, Comics, design and fashion. The question is why a fascination for the past and its inventions exists and how it is formed. Always present of course is Jules Verne and his imagination.
