GATHER, ONE AND ALL!

INTRODUCING

the

GREAT

STEAMPUNK COUCHSURFERS APPRECIATION SOCIETY

Ladies and Gentlemen, Fellow world travelers,

I do not know if you are aware but a magnificent experiment exists on this great world wide web called 'the couchsurfing project'. https://www.couchsurfing.org

This project is a fantastic idea and is very simple. When one finds oneself far from home, but not the shilling for an Inn, one contacts a member of the project and requests shelter in their far town or city.

People from all corners of the Empire, The Americas, Europe and beyond are actively offering companionship and lodging on this fine site.

Of course, in exchange the fellow who takes accommodation is expected to be a good sport, and rerun the favour for future travelers passing close to their abode.

I put it to you all that there would be nothing better than a small organisation inside this greater cause, of us who wish to meet and great in this fashon and open our homes to each other, in the most respectable way, to engage in pleasantries and share news of the happenings in the world.

Our group will be located on the website of the organisation here- https://www.couchsurfing.org/group.html?gid=93359

I look forward to seeing you all in the future and perhaps our paths will meet!

Yours,

AWB

Captain

There is a second SteamPunk Couchsurfing group:  https://www.couchsurfing.com/groups/steampunks

Interesting concept. But I'm not sure about participating, knowing how "post apocalyptic" many Steampunks' couches tend to be.

Don't know how post apocalyptic other peoples sofa's (aka couches) are, but mine is renowned for being very comfy and sleepable on!
