I was wondering if there was anyone else out there who share my interest in freaks and sideshows. They do of course cover quite a wide period of time but I would say the mid-victorian era seems to have been a bit of a golden age. If you indeed are (gobble, gobble) one of us then pull up a chair and help yourself to some brandy. Let us talk of freaks, geeks and fiji mermaids.

I've been at a modern freakshow once.
I was so weirded out I basically ran out of there.

Where was it? The nearest I've been was the Jim Rose Circus.

They traveled through the country. I saw them in Utrecht. I forgot their name though...sorry for that.
