Hi ,

i just made an steampunk sword, tell me what you think.

Its made out of Foam (yoga mat) and led lights

I'm looking for more swords to build but cant find many good images to copy from..
If u know any good steampunk blades please link them for me

It's quite boring to make exact copies from some older designs, but you can of course use them for inspiration and make totally new designs for your own use.

Put "knighthawk armoury" to google image search and you can see interesting latex weapons from steampunk theme. This sold out piece is my own favourite from their products. http://www.king-cart.com/oknight/product_name=Flame+Thrower+Axe/
I'm actually more interest to swords made from real metal parts, and for example AetherAnvil has made a lot of good looking steampunk swords from aluminium and brass plates. http://aetheranvil.deviantart.com/gallery/ Also TamonteN have some interesting sword designs: http://tamonten.deviantart.com/gallery/7287702/Sword

Is it supposed to be a chainsword?

no, just steel pins (the original is a chainsword)

It is very low budget , the foam i work with is not very good quality (for propmaking)

I like the fact that it looks slightly alive and lupine, like the upper part of a wolfs jaw and head.   It adds a touch of eerie to the intimidation of a big piece of sharp metal.
