4th Annual SteamPunk Garden Party {Waynesburg, PA September 14th 9:AM-10:PM}

Since we had so much fun and such a great response from the public last year, we at the Greene County Museum are very excited to announce that we will once again be hosting the Steampunk Garden Party!
The event will have a variety of period carnival games, croquet pitches, steam engines, art and costume contests, picnic areas with free refreshments, great photo opportunities in our museum and on our lush grounds, and great entertainment and music all evening. We are thrilled to announce that Curse of Cassandra, a dark electro-dance band, and the Miracle Elixir Sideshow, an old-fashioned medicine show, will both be joining us again this year, but with even more fun! The Miracles Elixir Sideshow will be performing not one, but two shows this year! They have added a mind-reading comedy show to their act that we can't wait to see!
The Steampunk Garden Party is a unique way of celebrating history and pop culture. The Greene County Historical Society Museum is one of the largest Victorian-era museums in the county, with the property sitting on an expansive and beautiful 19 acres, so it is a wonderful venue for this type of event.
The event will occur on Saturday, June 9th from 5:00pm-10:00 pm and admission is $20 for adults, $15 for children under 12, with a $5 entry fee for the Art Contest and Costume Contest, respectfully.

The Greene County Historical Society is seeking Artists to participate in our Steampunk Garden Party Art Contest. There is a $5 entry fee for each piece of artwork and this year's theme is "Under the Sea!" Awards are given for 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place and artists do not have to be present to receive awards. Any artist that do wish to attend will have to pay the standard $20 admission to the event outside of their entry fee.
