Ahoi to all
Sometimes my Steampunk custom builds look atompunky, this time its the other way:

Heavily inspired by a gun I saw online a couple of years ago. If anyone knows the artist, let me know.

Wonderful. You need a logo to match. Something like a diamond shaped metal tag riveted to the side.

Anselmofanzero

Yeah, the turquise body looks a bit empty hm? Had another pipe on my plan, but decided to keep it clean and smooth.
Dont wanna tag it though, might sell it and the buyer can put on what he wants. Initials or something.

Miranda.T

Very nice - straight out of the 'Golden Age' of Science Fiction.

Yours,

I reference than on the penchant for mid 20th C American industry to rivet tags to anything they made or sold. Furniture in the 1950s had matal tags riveted in a place hidden from view. Most appliances like refrrigerators had metal tags riveted to the side away from view, even the shop that sold the item would do that! Even brand new cars sold at car dealerships still carried metal tags with the car dealers name! Horrible for new cars though. By the early 2000s the practice on vehicles had ended, replaced with decals that one could remove. But in the 1980s I hated seeing a brand new car like a brand new Mustang with a giant metal logo riveted to the back ("Joe's Car Emporium, San Antonio, Texas") next to the car's brand.

Thank you mam!

Took 2 weeks to make, all from scratch, solid metal.
But rivets around the body would be nice indeed. Had no small brass screws,
turning 14 of them and drilling even more holes was just too much work :p

;D I hear you! You have to stop at some point. That is the eternal Steampunk dilemma.

Anselmofanzero

Yeah, there are never enough details on anything.

Anselmofanzero

Thanks.
Would not mind if it was a bit greener though.

SeVeNeVeS

I love it, nice to see some COLOUR

Another excellent job. Not too sure on the white grips, a personal thing.......

Keep em coming.

Anselmofanzero

Thanks, but its ivory, not really white. Goes superwell with that turquise. Caddy-style :>

urgolem

Confronted with that, I would prefer not to be a vampire on the Planet of Vampires.

Anselmofanzero

Its a blue laser, not UV, vampire-friendly. Being a black balloon would be kinda bad.

urgolem

It is exactly what I have needed to know - as a vampire.   ;D

Anselmofanzero

COUGH well even vampires can loose their eye-sight, so...   :>

The colours --turquoise and ivory--- remind me more of a vintage Ford Thunderbird than a Cadillac   ;)

The beauty of living in the time that we live in, is that we can make our retrofuturistic paraphernalia fully functional.
