Michigan Steampunks

I have in the works, an epic steampunk convention/ event coming up in a year or two.

I'm wondering how many people live here in Michigan who would attend such a feat?
I'm also interested in finding local Steampunk Performers to come out and be part of the foundation for this.

Also looking for just general discussion. . .

What would you WANT to see at a steampunk event? Convention? Annual gathering?
What would you expect to see, do, eat?

Where in Michigan? You can hold a convention in Detroit or Lansing or Grand Traverse Bay or Grand Rapids and different people will show up.
