The word pagan came from paganus , who mean peasant . Its was a way to significate than christianism was the religion of the elite and paganism the one of the savage worker class.

''Trickster shows us how we trick OURSELVES. Her rampant curiosity backfires, but, then, something NEW is discovered (though usually not what She expected)! This is where creativity comes from—experiment, do something different, maybe even something forbidden, and voila! A breakthrough occurs! Ha! Ha! We are released! The world is created anew! Do something backwards, break your own traditions, the barrier breaks; destroy the world as you know it, let the new in.''

Don't let these shakes go on, it's time we had a break from it. Send me to the rear! Where the Tides of Madness swell, and men sliding into Hell...

Oh please don't let these shakes go on...

I've read some comments on the Internet over "Irish Tacos?" Has anyone this side of the pond heard anything about that?

I can't fathom what it could be, though the Irish and Mexico have been intertwined at very brief moments in history, starting with the Saint Patrick's Battalion, a group of Irish and Irish Americans who jumped sides to right for Mexico during the Mexican American War.

The other Irish Mexican interaction is far more mundane, more than a couple of 1970s-1980s Irish Mexican restaurants/ pub chains who spurred the "casual dining"trend in the US.

If you want to get more confused on the subject, Americans are now mourning the phasing out  of an evil concoction evil known as "Choco Taco."

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Choco_Taco

Excellent example of cultural misappropriation (because it can't be called appropriation, since it's loosely based on the American version of a taco).

https://www.npr.org/2022/07/26/1113692240/choco-taco-discontinued-ice-cream

The public response has been so intense that some people are now trying to buy the rights to the Choco Taco to save it from oblivion and even trying to immortalize it in Renaissance styled paintings

Not to lower the tone or anything, but that looks like something other than chocolate, if you get my meaning.
Persons intending to travel by open carriage should select a seat with their backs to the engine, by which means they will avoid the ashes emitted therefrom, that in travelling generally, but particularly through the tunnels, prove a great annoyance; the carriage farthest from the engine will in consequence be found the most desirable.

You mean the real ice cream sandwich (Choco Taco), or the "Renaissance" painting? Both look bad IMHO. But people are wailing over it.
