I will be performing some overdue maintenance on the Forum on Saturday February 19, 2022 at approximately Noon Toronto time. I estimate (guess wildly) that this will take around three hours, but I've never done this before so it could be much shorter or much longer. During this maintenance window the Forum will be inaccessible. I will post progress reports at sparegoggles.forumotion.net as well as @vonCorax on Twitter.

It took a little longer than planned, because Simple Machines chose to go down for maintenance at the same time, but we're patched and live again.

The hiccup with simple machine exemplifies why the announcements and so forth. Given the fragility of things 'oh no the forums' down. is it down forever? wha happen' and so forth.
