[TTRPG] Age of Ravens Blog's History of Steampunk & Victoriana RPGs

Good evening, everyone,

Mr. Lowell Francis has written a number of RPG genre histories, on his Age of Ravens web log--including a History of Steampunk & Victoriana RPGs.

He recently moved to a new URL and there's some lovely reformatting of his original work. However, at the time of writing this, he has only re-crafted the first part.

Fortunately, his old "blogspot" blog survives, and one can find the entire series--up to 2014--beginning with this post. The full series runs:

Did I say a week? Surely not!

Mr Lowell Francis had written and composed a most spectacular report and plethora of steamy tabletop roleplaying material.

I must admit it was the later works that grasped me significantly more, but not without exception.

Tephra looks highly promising with their D12 clock mechanism (it worked on me hook-line-sinker!).

There are many more choice, and it is very nice to have them.
