Looking to Get Started

I'm new to Steampunk, having only really stumbled on it accidentally last summer.  I've been a fan of the literature for many years and accidentally discovered an event in Gloucester last summer.

I see there are groups near-ish in Gloucester, Chepstow and Bristol, so hoping to meet others and get some inspiration on what my character might be (and where to find Victorian clothing).
