Trés snappy, Reverend! Nice cutaway coat and I assume the purple phalloid apparatus is some sort of anti-hysterical device?

I was instructed that said Phalic sword was the only way to defeat a hideous clown beast whom had happened through the rift.

I know you warned me, but I'm still going to drop spiders in your tea for that. After the nightmares stop. If they ever stop.  :-\

Excellent pictures and good to see a new thread!

Seems an excellent excuse to post a my favorite snap from our group's recent steampunk picnic!

I'm center, second from the left. Still searching for a bowler hat but it was great to see everyone turn out! Trying to poke people for another while the weather is good.

More great pictures Wilhelmina, the colors are great!

thank you, Gabriel and Tobias! :) Garingling, thanks, i got it in a clothes swap! The dresscode for the graduation is black and white ( or national dress), so it was perfect.

aldebaran, you look so excited about your gun! :D

Is that a circuit-board-patterned corset, aldebaran? Awesome.

Just happy to have found a prop gun that I like. Actually, my husband gets the credit for finding it. We'd just been to a gift shop which sells steamy guns, and I didn't like any of them, so my DH whipped out his phone and did a search. This one is a cheapy from Weta (the special effects studio behind Lord of the Rings and District 9). I say "cheap" but it was a lot cheaper than their limited edition guns, which run into the thousands.

Yes, it is. I have a couple of circuit-board corsets from Gallery Serpentine - the red and gold one in my avi, and the one I'm wearing in the pictures. ;D

Mostly Emilie Autumn-inspired almost-steampunk on the severly tight budget of an unemployed behavioral scientist:

And a few more updates to the outfit.  And yes, the tailcoat is decorated with cogs -just because- pretty much everyone
complains about using cogs and gears simply as "something shiny"

All in all based on this early sketch:

Ah, I applaud you! Good to see another who dares use Emilie Autumn as their inspiration. I myself am putting together an outfit quite inspired by her style since I love it so greatly. Wonderful job, good sir!

The Pittsburg pirate, obviously. No sword.

Ok..I know I've already posted The Countess' photos from the Aftermath Ball at the beginning of this thread but the official photographer at the Ball has (finally) uploaded his pix and I'm really impressed with how well they have come out so I've taken the liberty of posting  a few here.
