Thank you, OPB!

I do feel a need for some respite from the youngsters from time to time...

I'll be out on the front veranda, sipping a mint julep and shaking my walking stick at them to make sure that they stay off the lawn! ;)

I'm in.

True story - I don't have much of a problem with kids on my lawn but I did have some yahoo up in my mulberry tree the other day, picking berries for his daughter.  He was lucky - my wife dealt with him before I even knew about it.  The nerve of some people...

I'd like to apply for membership now, as I understand there's a three year waiting list.
Such are the feeble bases on which many a public character rests.

I as well though my reference checks will take 4 years to complete.  Perhaps you have openings for deputy assistant geezers or steampunk-prospects....
Steampunk is in the eye of the beholder, in the hands of the tinkerer and in the needle of the costumer.

I'd heard the waiting list was just over 11 years, hence I'd like to apply now and maybe just sit quietly to get a feel of the place whilst I'm waiting...

Goodness! So many aspiring Geezers!

I suspect we'll have to open a Junior Geezer Division.

Well, why not?

I'm in.  Think of the club membership as our reward for having survived this long.

I've left my resume on the desk. It'll take about 32~33 years to decipher and process. Send me a telegraph when it's done.

I'm not quite there yet myself, but I heard this might be a good place to look for older gentlemen on their last legs with lots of disposable cash ?!  ......  I mean lovely experienced gentlemen who may wish the care of a sweet mature woman to help them dispose of heavy extraneous funds  ;D

As a freshly minted, 49year old, apprentice steampunk, I hereby submit my application to join the journeyman steamgeezers (using the required carbon triplicates imprinted upon mimeographed original forms as secured from the secret guild laboratory).  8)

Can I apply for membership 31 years in advance?  ;D

Angus A Fitziron

Here I am ~ applying for SteamGeyser membership. To be 50 again ~ I wish! I don't understand the large number of youngsters wanting to join - keep 'em out I say, they'll only make a mess of the lawn with their frisbees and skating boards ...

So, what do we do here? Look wise?

Frisbees? Skateboards? Me? Why I never... I'll have you know, I can shake my stick, and reminisce about the old days with the best!

Why thank you sir.  Most kind.  I certainly believe it to be true.  Mature women have more life and "other" experience to offer.

Being a mature woman, you should know that in this day and age, experience and years alive have nothing to do with each other.  ;)
