Cigars are great, but there is nothing wrong with cigarettes. Some of us prefer them on the regular basis ::stubs out her nail in the ashtray and enjoys her free drink from Xenos::

Don't be a smoking racialist, heh heh.

As long as it is quality tobacco, enjoy.

Life is too short for cheap liquor or tobacco.  Stint not on the vices!

Cheap liquor has it's place. Some nights, it's enjoyable to slum it a little.

If we have to slum it in most respects I still say that some small examples 'of the finer things' should be our recompense.

Quite so, carry on!
Persons intending to travel by open carriage should select a seat with their backs to the engine, by which means they will avoid the ashes emitted therefrom, that in travelling generally, but particularly through the tunnels, prove a great annoyance; the carriage farthest from the engine will in consequence be found the most desirable.

Quite partial to the Odd (odder the better)Tequila, with appropriate trimmings and ritual.
Would have been considered a cheap liquor for a long time, but now in Europe, extortionate prices.

I'm a big fan of tequila... though, I'm a big fan of most alcohols ;)

I'm partial to Wild Turkey which is considered 'bottom drawer' in the 'States but costs us a fortune in the U.K.
I do hope this fine stablishment has the good sense to keep a few bottles under the bar.

Tequila is the oddest of things.  It is just about the only spirit I can actually drink neat  :o

Have you tried Wild Turkey: American Honey? It's truly wonderful, and often sold high-middle shelf ;)

Tequila is the oddest of things.  It is just about the only spirit I can actually drink neat  :o

I had a sip of this at a friend's house last year. Exceptional.

If you've been enjoying tequila, I suggest you try meszcal.

As a matter of fact,

"George, I say George there, a shot of the 7 year-old Scorpion Añejo all around and put it on my tab!
What do you mean I'm over-extended? Well then, drinks all around and charge it to the most generous Mr. Harrison!!
Bottoms up, me hearties!"

"You don't mind breaking the law?"
        "Not in the least."
"Nor running a chance of arrest?"
        "Not in a good cause."
"Oh, the cause is excellent!"
         "Then I am your man."

Oh... we had a bottle of that... got knocked over and shattered after only 2 days back from Mexico. Damn shame :(

Mezcal?  I have heard of that... it's the same generic 'stuff' as tequila, is it not?  I've never tried it...

Yes, George old boy, do be so good as to pour everyone a glass of it, would you?

For beer, I'm partial to Yuengling, especially their Porter.

I much prefer my whiskey neat and enjoy Jamesons, Glen Livet and Tullymore Dew.  I've not tried Tequila, nor have I had an opportunity to discover single malts, but I hope someday to afford that luxury.

If you notice in the photo of the Scorpion mezcal bottle, there is a scorpion in the bottom. Their motto is "Worms are for Wimps!"

Hmpf. Never drunk a scorpion before, they've always held their liquor too well. *rimshot*

But are scorpions known for thier 'psychedelic' qualities? :)

did you know that if you place alcohol on a scorpion it will go mad and sting it self to death? a drop will do  :o

It must have been a very bad day for the scorpion in the bottom of that bottle then... not only did it fall in and nearly drown but then it stung itself...

Well, if the poor little creature hasn't stung himself yet, there might still be a chance to save him... quick, we'll need enough volunteers to empty the bottle as quickly as possible - grab a glass and form a queue.
